Repeat prescriptions are authorised only by your doctor, and are for 1 month’s supply of medication at a time. You doctor will wish to review your condition at regular intervals, and you will be asked to see him or her every few months to monitor your progress.
Child Health Surveillance
Drs P. Evans and M. David undertake child health surveillance for children under the age of 5 years.
Health visitor Well Baby Clinics are held at South Rd Clinic Annex. Clinic Times: Tuesday (2.00pm to 4.00pm) ( Health Visitor Only)
An under 5’s GP Well Baby Clinic and an Immunisation clinic are held at South Rd Surgery on Wednesday afternoons, please contact the surgery on 01656 304229 to make an appointment.
Unwell children should not attend this clinic, concerned parents can contact Portway surgery to make an appointment to see a GP.

Family Planning Service
The Practice is able to offer a full family planning service, with doctors and nursing staff specially trained in all aspects of family planning. A number of clinics held at various times throughout the week. Please contact the surgery for details.
To monitor those patients whose GPs feel that regular checks on their blood pressure is necessary
Advice and regular progress checks for those who have particular problems with asthma
Specialist advice and a complete range of travel immunisations are available, including Yellow Fever, for those undertaking foreign travel
Advice and regular monitoring for those with diabetes, and screening and advice for close relatives of patients with this condition.
